Bible Study Discipleship groupEvery Tuesday night we gather at the Guiseley Workers Club for our Bible study discipleship group. It's a relaxed, welcoming space and there's a place at the table for everyone.
There's no professional in the room and no right or wrong answers. We work through the big themes of the Bible together: prayer, repentance, hope, patience, purpose, destiny, love, eternal life and salvation. We've found Tuesday nights to be a brilliant way of digging deeper into Scripture, growing in friendship and building relationship both with one another and with God.
Prayer is at the heart of it. Whether it's a local situation or something national, we encourage the men to pray for one another and for our community, each man championing the next.
Following the success of the first Prayer Course, these five sessions go deeper, provoking honest conversation around the hardest and most personal questions we all ask about prayer.
The Sessions
The Prayer Course II is split into five sessions:
1 God on Mute: Engaging the Silence
2 Maundy Thursday: How?
3 Good Friday: Why?
4 Holy Saturday: Where?
5 Easter Sunday: When?
Every Tuesday Night
