  • "Men Together has brought me a deep awareness of man’s condition: so that when a scaffolder, working on my house roof, told me his “Mrs”had left him that morning; he was then so moved that I listened to his anguish, and cared enough to invite him to the Men’s Breakfast, he put up extra scaffold and a ladder so that I could see the works better. At the last Breakfast I sat opposite a brother from another faith tucking into scrambled eggs and veggie sausages and he beamed a broad smile of hope when I said I would look out for him on the Holy Mountain when we meet together in the prophecy of Isaiah 2. One Saturday morning Kam saw that I was troubled and he prayed and prophesied for my grandson’s well being - that prophecy was fulfilled that very day. Spontaneous and passionate prayer comes with the Breakfast! We have had guest Testimonies from a boxer who looked every bit the battered part, local football and rugby stars and even a crime fighting policeman; all have harrowing stories, gripped in life by powerful strongholds pulling them down. Although their failures were great the grace of Jesus abounded more and they are enjoying a new life in Christ now. Men who fall down and then are lifted up seem to love Jesus much because they have been forgiven much. We are Men Together and bonded to the Lord: the sustainer in all life’s situations. James."

  • "I am grateful that this group exists. God has used the men's breakfast to speak to me and through me, being blessed and a blessing for others. It's an invaluable resource to be in the company of men that are brought together by the truth. There's also opportunity to dive deeper in the word with discipleship Bible studies on Tuesdays, where we can also be brothers that carry each other's burdens and put into practice James 5:16 "Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." As we draw close to God, He draws close to us. We support each other, we encourage each other and we listen to each other. We also explore different topics of Christian life in order to strengthen our ability to help those around us who are struggling. I feel truly blessed to be part of Men Together as my life has become much calmer, my thoughts are more focused and decisions are taken with greater clarity.
